Kalimba Cover & Tutorial: Wherever You Will Go | The Calling | Hugh Tracey Chromatic Celeste Treble

Hi, hey there, hello awesomes!

Do you have a list of songs that you love to listen to, that no matter how old it is, you can’t stop playing and singing it?

Wherever You Will Go by the awesome band The Calling is one of the songs I love to listen to since High School. This song is already 19 years old now. Yes 19!! Can you believe it?! But I still have it on my playlist and won’t get tired singing it. This song was released May 2001. I love the song and the band!

Kalimba : Hugh Tracey Chromatic Celeste Treble

Hi, hey there, hello awesomes!

Have you ever experienced that feeling when you thought you wasted dollars on the instrument you bought? That there’s like regrets on the purchase you made because you thought it’s easy to learn but you’re struggling? Then later it turned out that you just needed more time to fully understand how to play it and practicing allowed you to get to know the instrument a little deeper and then eventually you became friends with it.

I got this Hugh Tracey Treble Chromatic Celeste last June. This is not my first kalimba, it’s actually my second. The first one was a cheaper one I found in amazon last April, I just wanted to see if I’ll be able to learn the kalimba since I have never played any instrument at all before. It turned out that I super enjoyed playing it, so after 2 months I decided to purchase a Hugh Tracey one.

Kalimba Cover & Tutorial : In The End | Linkin Park | Hugh Tracey Chromatic Celeste Treble

Hi, hey there, hello awesomes and LP fans!

Have you ever tried to do something you never thought you’d totally enjoy and love? This is what happened to me when I first met my Kalimba instrument. I enjoyed the Kalimba app game but having the real instrument right in front of me feels so different but exciting at the same time!

I’ve watched a lot of amazing kalimba cover videos in YouTube and those kalimba players really inspired me to make my own kalimba arrangement. For someone like me though who only know the basics which I learned from school, it’s a bit hard at the beginning. Good thing I still remember the mnemonic Every Good Boy Does Fine. *dance dance*

I’ve been listening to Linkin Park since high school. That’s like more than 10 years now. *giggles* Yes I’m an LP fan! So for my first Kalimba Cover I decided to do Linkin Park’s song In The End . I played the song using my Hugh Tracey Chromatic Celeste Treble in the Key of C.
